How Can My Major Make the World a Better Place

 I study dentistry, and I believe that this profession does not necessarily make a better place to live, since it depends a lot on the dentist. When dentistry is done thinking about solving the patient's problems and in order to improve their quality of life, of course it helps to make a better place to live, on the other hand, when it is done having economic interests and not out of vocation and interest in patients, it does not contribute to making a better place to live.

Dentistry is a profession in which economic interests are very much given, since it is a very expensive career, and for this reason the procedures that are performed on patients are also expensive, so you can have a good economic future to future. This is why many times it is entered the career without having a vocation and interest in it.

In the future I see myself as a dentist with a vocation and who loves what she does. It is a really beautiful race! since we not only improve the quality of life of persons, but we also give them security by giving them the possibility of smiling again.

My favorite food

 In today's blog I'm going to talk about my favorite food, it was a bit difficult to choose because in general I like many foods, but I decided on French fries. Changes to my study programme

 I think this is a very interesting topic. First of all, I have to mention that I study dentistry, it is a career that lasts 6 years in case one does not fall behind, however, a dental student in Chile completes the degree in an average of 8 years. In the 4 semesters that I have been in the career, I have had 7 subjects in all of them, some have a heavier academic load than others. For example, in this semester the areas with the highest academic load are "Biological and clinical bases for diagnosis" and "simulation for professional practice", in my opinion, as these are more difficult areas and with a greater number of classes, they require a lot of study time, which is sometimes difficult to achieve because it is also necessary to comply with the other branches, so that deep learning is not achieved.
