Inglish IV

 My favorite subject this semester is called "Simulation for professional practice." In this subject we have classes four times a week, most of them were theoretical and online due to the pandemic, but we also had 20 practical hours spread over four days. Here we learn about the instruments and what they are for, dental procedures and everything related to that, we also learned about the different materials that are used. On the other hand, in the practical steps we applied all the theoretical contents reviewed in the classes and made a restoration in an ivory tooth. We were also able to use our uniform and materials, it was very exciting! I like this subject because it is directly related to dentistry, and also because it gives us the opportunity to apply the knowledge, and to get out of the routine of online classes, thanks to the practicals we were able to spend a little more time within the university and meet our classmates and professors.

 This time I wanted to get out of the instructions a bit and talk about an application, since its occupies much more than a website. The application is called "Dental-lite", it is used to see the anatomy in 3D of all the teeth, you can even turn the tooth to see the detail of all its faces and from all angles. The best thing is that it can be downloaded for free for the cell phone and computer, it has helped me a lot during these two years of career, especially in the practicals, since we had to do restorations. I use it very frequently, every time I have to develop a task on this topic. I would recommend it to all dental students who are in the process of learning dental anatomy, it is something very difficult in my opinion and this application is a great help, especially in these times of pandemic in which we have to learn everything through the internet and online classes. https://dental-lite.uptodown.com/android
